Phoenox Textiles have long been committed to innovating our products and processes in order to protect the environment. This is why the business is delighted to announce our latest reduction of our carbon emissions.
Over the last 5 years we have reduced our Co2 emissions by over 2,200,000kg through switching to a Green Electric supply. This has helped to prevent a massive 441,409kg of Co2 a year from being emitted into the atmosphere- the equivalent to taking 475 cars off the roads.
However, we are not stopping there. Phoenox have set further targets for the next 3 to 5 years to continue to reduce our emissions by transitioning from traditional oil to natural gas which is 20% cleaner.
By November 2022, Phoenox will proudly be using only Green Energy and Green Gas. Green gas is produced by turning organic matter into biomethane through anaerobic digestion, making it an environmentally-friendly energy solution. This means that by this date, Phoenox will be Carbon Neutral in both energy providers and manufacturing.
Phoenox are constantly looking forward and will continue to set ambitious targets to reduce our environmental impact and help build a bright future for our planet

Phoenox Textiles are delighted to announce that we are now supporting Plastic Oceans UK. At Phoenox we have long been passionate about helping the environment; we first began using recycled materials to create our luxury products over 10 years ago.
But with environmental challenges growing and the climate crisis mounting, it is more important than ever for us to do our bit to protect our planet. This is why we decided to team up with Plastic Oceans UK.
Plastic Oceans UK are an organisation dedicated to combating climate change through the power of education. They are experts when it comes to plastic pollution, running programmes designed to both engage and educate audiences. Their programmes are designed teach people about the importance of conscious plastic consumption, promoting plastic use which supports a brighter future for our planet.
As well as donating to Plastic Oceans, our work with them will help to support their cause even further by spreading their message to a wider audience. Likewise, with the support of Plastic Oceans, we look forward to a bright future as a company making business decisions which help, not damage, our planet.

Head of International Sales, Tracy Turczak, has just returned from another successful trip to Ireland where she was working closely with a number of customers as they transformed their stores with our new products and updated merchandising.
As part of her visit to Ireland, Tracy assisted our customers in the process of updating their stores, helping then to introduce our brand new header cards to Phoenox’s products.
One such set up took place at Hanley’s, the shop pictured, the set up ran smoothly thanks to Tracy’s expertise and she left with very satisfied customers and a freshly updated shop floor in preparation for the busy winter season.

At the start of September, team Phoenox spent an enjoyable few days at the spoga+gafa trade fair in Germany. Based in Cologne, the fair was first established over 45 years ago and has since grown to become one of the leading international fairs in the garden and leisure industry; each year they open their doors to over 2000 exhibitors and 40,000 visitors.
Recognised internationally for its success, the show welcomes both visitors and exhibitors from around the globe-people travel from over 100 different countries to visit the fair. Since 1973 spoga+gafa has been nurturing business relationships, acting as a perfect platform for networking and connecting.
The fair runs for three days each year, showcasing brands from the world of garden living with an emphasis on emerging trends and ideas. This is why Phoenox Textiles were right at home at the show, with our wide range of innovative and versatile products. It was the ideal opportunity for us to introduce some of our latest ranges and upcoming products.
We enjoyed an exciting and inspiring three days in Cologne at the fair, meeting existing clients and new collaborators alike. Many visitors were impressed by our environmental efforts as a company. They were not only impressed by the fact that our products are made at our zero to landfill factory, but blown away by how we turn plastic bottles to homewares without compromising quality.
The Phoenox team are already looking forward to returning next year for another productive trip to spoga+gafa!
