staff we now employ over 170 people and continue to innovate and expand in our sector.

About the role:

We are looking for a Production Planner to join our planning team. Your main objective will be
to support the Merchandising Manager and other members of the team.

Duties & responsibilities:

  • Create, issue, communicate and control weekly production plans to ensure order fulfilment on-time-in-full delivery.
  • Monitor end to end production process and plans to ensure production meets OTIF and adjust the plan accordingly.
  • Maintain optimal inventory levels of raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished product as well as inventory management.
  • Engage collaboratively with the wider team.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Coordinate changes in plans to meet changing demands or resolve production issues.
  • Provide first line support for queries regarding finished product availability.
  • Utilise OrderWise (internal ERP system) to effectively plan and coordinate requirements, create and issue purchase orders and monitor the status to ensure on-time-in-full material delivery.
  • Carry out perpetual stock counts in collaboration with the wider team, deal with any discrepancies.
  • Maintain effective communication with cross functional departments, and the supply chain, including suppliers.

Qualifications and Experience:

  •  Educated to A Level or equivalent, a relevant degree is preferable.
  • Previous experience (2 years) in production planning and/or supply chain management.
  • Competent in using ERP systems, data analysis tools, and MS Office skills, especially Excel.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to foster collaboration.
  • Ability to work under pressure, handle multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines.
