Hug Rugs are the best eco-friendly, cotton washable mats. Ideal for putting by your doorway to trap dirt and protect your floors, whilst adding some style and colour to your home. Our plain fleck design helps to disguise mud and dirt, the flecks in our Plain Espresso Brown are dark black and brown. Hug Rugs are designed to trap up to 95% of dirt, dust and mud, are ultra-absorbent, and manufactured in the UK from up to 90% recycled materials. They are washable at 30 degrees, and also have a non-slip rubber backing, to keep them securely in place.

Sisal is known for its strong, durable, and hardwearing properties, making our Sisal rugs are the ideal rug to put in any high traffic areas such as your hallway, living rooms and kitchen. With a woven construction and classic boarder in a complimentary colour, this Sisal rug will add style and comfort to any area of your home. Choose from a range of four colours. Due to the latex backing, these rugs don’t need any underlay adding. Regular vacuuming with a strong brush-suction is all that is needed for daily care of sisal and seagrass carpets. The beater-type cleaner is not as effective due to the weave. The strong suction of the vacuum pulls out the fine dirt which has accumulated between the fibers. Sisal is super absorbent and will hold onto liquids. If a wet sisal rug doesn't dry completely, it can develop mold and mildew so it's important to use as little water as possible when cleaning. If your sisal rug does end up getting wet, allow it to dry completely before placing it back on the floor. How to dry clean your sisal rug 1. Begin by sprinkling baking soda or corn flour on top of the rug. 2. Leave the powder to sit on the rug for about one hour in order to absorb all the dirt.3. Shake the rug to remove excess powder.4.Afterwards, use the upholstery brush to vacuum the rug.
