Our Sustainable Manufacturing Processes

We’ve been in the textile manufacturing industry for 70 years and counting. Our team’s collective experience, knowledge and skills are second-to-none and have allowed us to set the standard for textile manufacturing. Artisan skills combined with the latest manufacturing technology help us to deliver impeccable quality at scale. Tufting

Our Tufting facilities provide a wide range of gauge, pile height and speed requirements. We operate six high-speed tufting machines producing widths of 2 metres or 5 metres at high speeds with pile heights from 5mm and up to 40mm.

Backcoating

Our state-of-the-art back coating plant was commissioned in 2017 and offers a high-speed coating line of up to 6 metres per minute and 2-metre widths. We work with washable foams, dyeable foams and eco-friendly applications in different weights for many product areas.

Shearing

Our Shearing machinery, coupled with our team of expert operators, allows us to give improved quality of finish, economically and efficiently. We operate 2 metres wide shearing of product with various pile heights.

Printing

Our state-of-the-art printing process is the only one of its kind in the UK. Chromo jet printing of 256 jets and widths up to 2 metres with up to eight colours per pattern. Recycling most of our paste and inks, using organic options wherever possible and recycled water.

Dyeing

From new technology to traditional techniques – we operate a piece dye colour cloth program and can dye nylon & cotton with weights of up to 500 kgs per load working with direct, organic, vat and reactive dyes. We also offer computerised and weighed commission dyeing.

Cutting

Working with computerised automated Gerber cutting machines and photocell pattern recognition, we cut widths of up to 2 metres wide, with high-speed cutting in most cloth densities. We even offer a commissioned cutting service.

Sewing

With finishing and sewing it’s all about the detail, our team have years of experience and hand finish our products using traditional high-speed machines. We can also offer a custom sewing service.
