Phoenox Textiles are delighted to announce the acquisition of three new high-speed patterned and plain tufting machines. The machines supplied by the world-leaders in tufting technology Card Monroe Corporation (CMC) will further add to the production capability within the business and enhance the range of textiles we are able to produce.
The new Colourpoint machine is described by CMC as “The most innovative tufting machine ever.” It can produce flooring textiles with multiple colours, pile heights, and a variety of textures and tip-sheared effects with no limits and scale of patterns. It is a breakthrough in tufting technology that enables the production of patterned textiles with no buried ends and pin-point stitch accuracy, resulting in high-definition detail and clarity.
The support the new investment, our design team recently travelled to America to visit CMC and attend ‘Tufting University’, where they got to experience the quality and capability of the machines first-hand (you’ll be delighted to hear that everyone passed with flying colours).
