For heavy stains professional cleaning is recommended.  An Anti Slip Rug Grip is recommended on all surfaces to prevent slipping, provide additional cushioning and improve durability.  For vacuuming avoid the use of a beater bar or if available adjust the setting to the highest pile setting.  If variable power settings are available please set to low.  Vacuum full length, turn & repeat, avoiding a back and forth dragging motion.
